Design philosophy
Two ferrules

Front ferrule seals the tube wall first, back ferrule mechanically grips second. Independent functions; no compromise either way.

Hy-Lok's catalogue is large; we stock the parts our customers order most. Anything outside the standard stock list is sourced directly from Korea on request.

Two-ferrule tube fittings

The core Hy-Lok range. Unions, elbows, tees, crosses, reducers, bulkheads, port connectors, weld fittings – all in 316L, all on the same two-ferrule mechanism.

  • Tube OD 1/16″ to 2″ (imperial), 6 mm to 50 mm (metric)
  • Working pressures to 6,000 psi standard, higher on request
  • BSP, NPT, JIS thread options across the connector range
  • Direct functional cross-reference with the dominant US instrumentation marque

Hy-Lok

Instrument valves

Small-bore valves for instrumentation lines, sample take-offs, manifold inlets, and isolation duty. 316L bodies as standard, with FKM and PTFE seats covering most chemical-compatibility cases.

  • Needle valves – packed-bonnet and bellows-sealed; ratings to 6,000 psi
  • Ball valves – 1-piece, 2-piece, 3-piece configurations
  • Check valves – cracking pressures from 1 psi up
  • Relief valves – adjustable, lock-off, manifold-mountable

Hy-Lok

Manifold blocks

Close-coupled to differential pressure transmitters. Replace tens of fittings, valves, and tube runs with a single machined block – fewer leak paths, faster install, easier maintenance.

  • 2-valve manifold – isolate and bleed
  • 3-valve manifold – block-bleed-block, the standard DP service arrangement
  • 5-valve manifold – full DP with equalising and bleed legs on both sides
  • Direct flange to most transmitter models; remote-mount adaptors available

The accessories that make the difference between a finished install and a half-finished one. Often urgently needed; we keep the awkward sizes on the shelf.

Specify

Send the drawing, the spec sheet, or just the tube OD plus pressure and the thread connection. We'll work the rest out.

Step 2

Cross-reference

If the drawing names a different marque, we will match it to the Hy-Lok equivalent – including any thread, ferrule, or pressure-rating differences worth flagging.

Step 3

Ship

Common sizes go same-day from Sandton. Special configurations source directly from Hy-Lok Korea – typical 2-3 week lead time.

Where it earns its keep

Highest-value applications in our market.

Hy-Lok instrumentation works everywhere small-bore fluid integrity matters. These are the four South African environments where the spec gets specified most carefully.

Mining

Compressed-air instrumentation manifolds, dust-tolerant fittings, and tube runs that survive vibration. 316L is non-negotiable on shaft installations.

Refining & Petrochem

Sample take-off, transmitter manifolds, isolation services. Where leak paths cost more than fittings, two-ferrule designs earn their place.

Gas (industrial & specialty)

High-purity tube fittings, double-block-and-bleed arrangements, pressure-rated to spec. Traceability matters; certificates come standard.

Analytical labs

Low-flow, high-purity sample lines. Small fittings urgently required, in sizes worth keeping on the shelf.
